An EPIC journey thru eons - the rise of civilization - the animal brain stumbling into the future - the cracking egg of humanity and modernity - farts that cause incessant choking - these are just a few of the things approached in this composition made in 2023 around the end of winter. A perfect time of new beginnings, to tell stories about our beginnings, on piano and vocals.

STORY OF AGES is partly inspired by the wonderful artist Marcela Lucatelli, whose shadow I often chase, blindfolded. I recommend her performances and music whenever possible.

For the cover art I'm further milking the image of a broken down piano I took last year, but processed to feel more like it's trash made of gold. This track is played on the iPad Ravenscroft 275 piano, which is perfectly in tune tho. But the weird clunkiness of the image fits the vibe of the song quite well, and the weird wooden yellow stuff looks a bit like parchment paper so I went for that golden ribbon look behind the text.
